There is a radio advert currently suggesting that obtaining Life insurance doesn’t have to be complicated and that you should just simply “sign up now”.

That simplicity may sound enticing, but the only reason our advice would ever complicate a situation is if it is in your best interest. These complexities protect clients from discovering later on that – they have been missing out on tax deductions, they have too much cover, they don’t have enough cover, that the claim won’t get paid or that it gets paid out to the wrong people (e.g. a debt collector).

It’s worth the extra time to get something as important as your family’s future right.
